The faculty of education, one of the oldest faculties of Bursa Uludağ University,  aims to raise knowledgeable, capable of teaching their knowledge,  open to development, able to use their minds, self-sacrificing students and to create academic staff who can conduct research to solve the problems of the education system in the country and the world and to improve the quality of education. In this regard, the faculty of education has adopted it as its duty to ensure that its students have the field knowledge, teaching profession knowledge, and general cultural knowledge required by the teaching profession to provide them with the sacrifice, honesty, and diligence required by the teaching profession, and to train academicians who are competent to produce and use scientific knowledge in the field of academic study.  

The main goal of the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program is to train psychological counselors with professional competence (knowledge, skills, and attitudes) and ethical principles who can provide services to positively contribute to the personal, social, educational, and professional development of individuals. In this context, the RPD program,   

• Have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to provide a wide range of field-specific services  
•  Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and solve problems and needs in a rapidly developing world 
• Understands the importance of continuous professional and personal  development  and fulfills the requirements   
•  It has taken it upon itself to train psychological counselors who act in line with the ethical values ​​required by the profession,  as well as universal and cultural values.

Application conditions; 

Candidates must have a high school or equivalent school diploma and have sufficient scores from the University Student Selection Examination. 

To obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Guidance and Psychological Counseling;  

• The student must have successfully completed all the vocational knowledge, general culture, and field education courses (equivalent to a total of 240 ECTS) that the student must take in the program, 
• The overall weighted GPA must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00.
