The primary aim of the Early Childhood Education Program is to train teachers who can provide effective early childhood education to children in the pre-school period, in line with the needs and requirements of our country and the era.

The Early Childhood Education Program operates with 2 Professors, 4 Associate Professors, 1 Assistant Professor, 1 Lecturer, 3 Research Assistants, and 1 Postdoctoral Researcher. Our program, which covers four years of education, currently has approximately 680 students.

Courses are conducted in classrooms equipped with smart boards and projectors. There is also a practice kindergarten under the Department of Early Childhood Education, used for practical sessions in field-specific courses. As part of the Teaching Practice 1 and 2 courses, our students complete internships at independent kindergartens affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.

Our graduates can work as Pre-School Teachers in kindergartens and independent nursery schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. Additionally, they can continue their education in graduate and doctoral programs at Institutes of Educational Sciences, pursuing careers as academics or administrators.
