Success study was conducted by a team led by scientists from Stanford University in the United States (USA) and including scientists from the Netherlands, using the composite 
indicator scientific impact index, which consists of variables such as the number of citations, h index, hm index, self-citation rate. The "World Top 2% Scientists List" researchers 
who were among the 2 percent in the world in 2023 were determined.

15 academics working at Bursa Uludağ University (BUU) were eligible to enter the list of 1395 scientists from Turkey.
