BUU Quality Coordinatorship announced the winners of the awards for their quality efforts in 2023 at a special ceremony organized for the first time. Awards were presented to 25 units, academicians, administrative staff and students under the titles of Unit Quality Award, Social Contribution Award, Alumni Interaction Award, Student Satisfaction Survey, Quality Volunteer Award, Accreditation Award and Quality Special Award. BUU Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. İrfan Kırıştıoğlu and Prof. Dr. Zekeriyya Arı, academic and administrative staff and many students attended the ceremony.

According to the 2023 BIDR, the completed Continuous Improvement Activity and the evaluation of the performance indicators included in the YÖK-YÖKAK University Monitoring Criteria, BUU received the Accreditation Award given to the departments that are accredited or renewed accreditation in 2023.
